About Pasadena Saranghae

Pasadena Saranghae was created to honor Korean culture and strengthen community connections in Pasadena. Inspired by Carol Kim Chung’s personal ties to the area and her experiences growing up within the local Korean community, the project began as a way to share stories, preserve traditions, and bring people together in a meaningful way.

At its core, Pasadena Saranghae is about people and belonging. Through storytelling, cultural moments, and community efforts, the project creates a welcoming space where heritage is respected, voices are heard, and connections continue to grow across generations.
